Personal Bible inserts your first name into curated Bible verses to make scripture feel personal. The app uses your name (entered during onboarding) and optionally your family member names to personalize promise verses, declarations, and themed verse collections.
The Bible text comes from the King James Version (public domain) plus licensed modern translations including NKJV, NLT, ESV, and AMP for Pro subscribers.
You can subscribe to Pro via Profile > Get Pro. Three tiers are available:
Pro unlocks unlimited verse explanations, the Ask the Word chat feature, premium translations (NKJV/NLT/ESV/AMP), advanced family personalization, the full Poster Designer, and exclusive themed verse collections.
Go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad. Tap Personal Bible Pro, then “Cancel Subscription.” You’ll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Personal Bible purchase, and click “Report a Problem.” Apple typically responds within 48 hours.
Open Personal Bible, go to Profile > Restore Purchases. Sign in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase. Your Pro entitlement will be restored automatically.

Go to Profile > My Family. You can add, edit, or remove spouse, children, and parent names. The Poster Designer and Promise Verses will use the updated names immediately.

Personalization rules are conservative by design. If you spot a verse that reads awkwardly with your name inserted, email us with the verse reference and we’ll review the rule in the next app update.
